Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation department in Taunton, MA. The successful candidate will actively participate in cases across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, gaining meaningful responsibility and trial exposure from the outset.

Duties

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Participate in trial strategy and active trial work.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop lasting relationships.

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island law license (required).
• Massachusetts license or willingness to obtain admission.
• Litigation experience (trial experience preferred).
• Ability to manage cases with increasing independence.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island.
