The role supports the firm's innovation efforts in the Litigation and Intellectual Property business units, focusing on enhancing legal service delivery through people, process, and technology. The position collaborates across various offices and departments, reporting to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

Duties

  • Lead projects to streamline legal service delivery using available resources and technology.
  • Support digitalization efforts, including automation and data management.
  • Integrate technology, such as generative AI, into legal practices.
  • Manage technology product rollouts and adoption.
  • Assist large litigation teams with workflow and resource integration.
  • Develop client-facing solutions and improve practice content.
  • Educate legal professionals on technology and practice content.
  • Maintain case studies and resources for business development.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and admission to practice in a US jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex ideas.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle diverse situations.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

  • Admission to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
