A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney for its Kansas City, MO office. The role involves managing a personal injury pre-litigation caseload, building client relationships, and negotiating with insurers to move cases toward resolution.

Duties

• Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication.
• Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery.
• Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff in the KC office.
• Develop referral relationships to grow your book of business.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Bar license required.
• At least one year of personal injury experience preferred; relevant civil litigation background considered.
• Eligibility to obtain Kansas Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity).
• Genuine client-first orientation.
• Organized and self-directed in a high-volume environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with legal technology and case management platforms.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
