Job Overview:

The Agribusiness Transactional Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to agribusiness transactions, providing expert advice and guidance to clients operating in the agricultural sector.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on agribusiness transactional matters.
  • Draft and review agribusiness transaction contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients regarding agribusiness operations and compliance issues.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for agribusiness transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure comprehensive legal support for clients' agribusiness needs.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings related to agribusiness transactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business transactions, preferably with a focus on agribusiness.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiating, and drafting skills.
  • State Bar Membership in Arizona, or ability to obtain admission in Arizona within a year of hiring.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • State Bar Membership in Arizona.
  • Any additional certifications or coursework related to agribusiness law or cross-border transactions would be advantageous.
