Job Overview:
A leading personal injury law firm is seeking a seasoned attorney to join its Intake Center located in Aurora, Colorado. This unique, non-litigation role allows experienced attorneys to apply their expertise in personal injury and workers’ compensation law without managing a caseload. The position is ideal for professionals seeking a career pivot that offers balance, flexibility, and a meaningful way to continue practicing law while reclaiming personal time. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including evenings and weekends.

Location:

  • Aurora, CO

Duties:

  • Serve as the first legal point of contact for potential new clients

  • Conduct intake interviews and consultations with prospective clients over the phone

  • Collaborate with intake agents and investigators to evaluate case potential

  • Make real-time decisions on case acceptance using legal judgment and firm guidelines

  • Clearly communicate legal rights and processes to potential clients

  • Refer accepted cases to the firm’s litigation teams—no ongoing case responsibility

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred)

  • In-depth knowledge of auto accident and workers’ compensation cases

  • Ability to assess and qualify legal matters quickly and accurately

  • Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing interactions

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment

  • Open to full-time or part-time shift work (including evenings and weekends)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado

  • Member in good standing with the Colorado State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal judgment and confident decision-making abilities

  • Compassionate and clear communicator with a client-first mindset

  • Efficient in gathering and synthesizing case-related information

  • Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude

  • Proficiency in intake systems or CRM tools (preferred but not required)
