A law firm seeks a NY licensed Associate Attorney for a divorce and family law practice in Forest Hills, NY. The role offers significant court experience and the opportunity to manage a personal caseload.

Duties

• Assist partners with drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare subpoenas and stipulations.
• Represent clients in person and virtually in Family and Supreme Courts across NYC, Long Island, and Westchester County.
• Handle uncontested and contested divorces and family court cases from start to finish.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
• Strong writing skills are essential.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
