Duties

  • Advise clients on the formation and organization of business entities such as corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships
  • Assist with drafting and negotiating business agreements and transactional documents
  • Support mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions
  • Guide on corporate governance and partnership matters
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to business and banking law issues
  • Assist clients with contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to structure transactions and address legal risks
  • Manage multiple transactional projects while maintaining clear communication with clients

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law
  • Experience with business entity formation and corporate structuring
  • Background in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, or partnership matters preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with business clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a legal team

Education and Certifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in Massachusetts or eligibility for admission
