Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Corporate and Real Estate Associate in Coral Gables, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in corporate and real estate law, ready to manage a full caseload independently. This role involves representing clients in various business and real estate matters, ensuring excellence both in and out of the courtroom.

Duties

  • Form, structure, and maintain Florida entities, including operating and shareholder agreements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and leases.
  • Lead real estate and business deals from LOI through closing.
  • Serve as outside general counsel to growth-stage clients.
  • Manage business, contract, and real estate disputes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align dispute strategy with business objectives.
  • Develop and expand a personal book of business.
  • Maintain an active Florida CLE plan and professional development.
  • Represent the firm at networking events and speaking engagements.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing with state and local bar associations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate/business law, real estate transactions, and commercial litigation.
  • Demonstrated drafting precision and deal management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ownership bias and accountability for outcomes.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft 365, PDF tools, and e-signature platforms.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
