Duties

  • Manage a team of associate attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather information and evidence.
  • Analyze potential risks and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with Shareholders and legal staff on case strategies.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judges.
  • Delegate tasks to associate attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in the relevant practice area.
  • Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of substantive and procedural law relevant to the practice area.
  • Experience with legal research tools and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
