Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced trial litigator with over 10 years of experience and first-chair jury trial expertise in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will manage all phases of litigation and work closely with the head of Litigation to develop effective strategies.

Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial.
• Collaborate with the head of Litigation to develop case strategies.
• Represent public entity clients in various legal matters, including civil rights and wrongful death claims.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
• Present arguments in court and before administrative boards.
• Assist in overseeing associates.

Requirements

• Membership in the CA Bar.
• Experience in public entity litigation and employment law preferred.
• Strong trial and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience mentoring and training junior attorneys.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active CA Bar membership.
