Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Counsel with over 10 years of civil litigation experience to manage a large docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters in San Francisco, CA. This role involves overseeing operations for a team handling numerous disputes for a major technology client.

Duties

• Drive and coordinate matter management and budgeting for litigation matters.
• Develop docket management strategies as case mixes evolve.
• Innovate workflows and team coordination, leveraging AI tools.
• Supervise operations management, including docketing and staffing.
• Manage data collection and deliver insights to teams.
• Communicate directly with clients and relationship partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in complex civil litigation and client interaction.
• Proficiency in litigation management platforms, Excel, and AI tools.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standing.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
