Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Litigation Attorney to join their team in Springfield, MA. The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of experience and a strong desire to represent clients zealously in litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to manage a caseload, engage with clients, and appear in court regularly.

Duties

• Consult with clients to understand case details and merits.
• Conduct legal research using legislation and case law.
• Draft legal documents, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
• Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Update the Department Chair on case developments.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of client data.
• Stay informed on legislative changes relevant to practice areas.
• Accurately report time and hours spent on each matter.

Requirements

• Accredited law degree.
• Admission to the MA Bar; CT Bar admission preferred.
• Familiarity with all subspecialties of the field.
• Outstanding research skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform under stress.
