Associate or Of-Counsel Attorney

A law firm seeks an Associate or Of-Counsel Attorney in Amador County, California, to support a diverse practice spanning estate planning, probate, corporate law, real estate, family law, and general civil litigation.

Duties

• Handle estate planning and probate matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents.

• Advise clients on corporate and real estate transactions, prepare agreements, and oversee closings.

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, such as custody, support, and dissolution actions.

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings for civil litigation, managing cases from inception through trial preparation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the California Bar in good standing.

• Demonstrated interest in or connections to the local community.

• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple practice areas.

• Strong legal research, writing, and client-communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar.
