Job Overview

Duties

  • Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested foreclosures.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of conditions precedent to filing actions.

  • Perform legal research and analysis of statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel.
  • Update internal client systems with findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements.

Requirements

  • Admission to the Michigan State Bar.
  • Admission to federal and bankruptcy courts in Michigan is a plus.
  • Prior foreclosure and litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with electronic case management and client systems preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-volume workloads.

Education

  • Juris Doctor

Certifications

  • Bar membership in the state of Michigan
