A law firm seeks a highly motivated Intellectual Property Senior Associate to join their Boston, MA office. This role involves engaging in advanced patent prosecution and litigation within a dynamic team of legal professionals.

Duties

  • Conduct patent prosecution and litigation in chemistry-related fields.
  • Manage and develop patent portfolios.
  • Perform competitive landscape analyses and assess patentability.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex legal matters.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of post-JD experience in patent prosecution and litigation.
  • Experience in chemistry, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors.
  • Admission to practice before the USPTO.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in MA, NY, CA, CO, or DC.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • PhD in Chemistry; a PhD in Organic Chemistry is preferred.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice before the USPTO.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
