Job Overview:
A highly respected civil defense litigation firm in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join its Fort Worth office. This opportunity offers involvement in a broad range of complex cases across multiple practice areas. The role is ideal for a skilled litigator capable of managing all phases of the litigation process, from discovery through dispositive motions and client reporting. Recruitment is being conducted on behalf of the firm.

Location:

  • Fort Worth, Texas

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of the litigation process, including case assessments, liability evaluations, and damage analysis

  • Conduct written discovery and manage discovery strategy

  • Take and defend oral depositions

  • Prepare and argue responsive pleadings and dispositive motions

  • Participate in court hearings and status conferences

  • Draft legal briefs, motions, responses, and correspondence to clients and insurers

  • Communicate legal strategies and case updates to clients and insurance carriers

  • Maintain compliance with court deadlines and reporting obligations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

  • Ability to manage complex litigation independently and efficiently

  • Familiarity with client reporting requirements and litigation workflows

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Texas State Bar (active and in good standing)

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities

  • Strong verbal communication and courtroom advocacy skills

  • Proficiency in drafting complex motions and legal documents

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines effectively
