Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its Private Equity practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in representing private equity sponsors in the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies.

Duties

• Represent private equity sponsors in acquisitions and dispositions.
• Collaborate with team members on complex transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Conduct due diligence and manage deal processes.

Requirements

• 2nd to 6th year associate experience.
• Experience with private equity transactions.
• Outstanding academic credentials preferred.
• Big law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission.
