Job Overview

A nationally recognized plaintiffs’ law firm is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Mass Tort practice. This role offers the opportunity to be part of high-profile litigation, working on complex cases involving defective products, medical devices, and prescription drugs. The position covers all aspects of mass tort litigation—from inception through trial or settlement—with direct mentorship from experienced litigators.

Location

Pensacola, FL 

Duties

  • Conduct legal research on mass tort issues and relevant laws

  • Draft motions, complaints, and legal filings accurately and on time

  • Manage and track deadlines for multiple mass tort cases

  • Develop legal strategies and build case narratives

  • Communicate with clients and maintain strong client relationships

  • Assist in trial preparation, including depositions and hearings

  • Collaborate with legal support staff, experts, and other attorneys

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (or immediate eligibility upon employment)

  • Admission to the Florida Bar or ability to sit for the exam soon after hiring

  • Ranked in the top 25% of graduating law school class

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated passion for mass tort litigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ranked in the top 10% of law school class

  • Participation in moot court, mock trial, or law review

  • Prior judicial clerkship or litigation internship experience

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida Bar (or immediate eligibility)
