Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join their Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in real estate finance, including loan origination and asset management.

Duties

• Manage large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle loan origination work, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Oversee transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Engage in asset management and workout strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to support practice growth.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience with large law firms preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage transactions for borrowers and lenders.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the practicing jurisdiction.
