This hybrid position is ideal for a civil litigator with 1-4 years of experience, focusing on general liability and toxic tort practice. Duties

• Manage cases proactively from start to finish in state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and conduct related research.
• Communicate frequently with clients and provide detailed reporting.
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare for and attend trials.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois; additional state licenses are a plus.
• 1-4 years of litigation and toxic tort experience in state and federal courts.
• Ability to manage caseload proactively from start to finish.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills.

Education
