Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Private Wealth Associate to join its Private Wealth Department in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in high net-worth estate planning within a recognized Trusts & Estates practice. Candidates with a background in transactional or tax work interested in transitioning to a Private Wealth practice may also be considered.

Duties

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and family office structures.
  • Manage trust and estate planning administration.
  • Handle probate filings.
  • Prepare and submit estate and gift tax returns.
  • Engage in related legal matters.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in high net-worth estate planning preferred.
  • Background in transactional or tax work is advantageous.
  • Experience with charitable planning is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Client-team focused work ethic.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of California.
