Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of experience in civil litigation and trial work. Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as part of a team.
• Prepare evidence, documents, and presentations for trial.
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Requirements

• Three to five plus years of experience in the legal field.
• Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage large caseloads and multiple priorities.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Commitment to excellent performance.

Education

• A law degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Actively licensed in Missouri.
• Ability to become licensed in Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska.
