Duties

  • Advise clients on complex transactions related to intellectual property licenses and collaborations.
  • Support strategic mergers and acquisitions, including big pharma-biotech acquisitions and NewCo formations.
  • Draft commercial agreements in the life sciences and healthcare industries.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address legal and business challenges.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in intellectual property transactions or related practice areas.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex license agreements in the life sciences sector.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using AI technologies responsibly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s) is required.

Certifications

  • Advanced scientific training or USPTO admission preferred but not required.
