Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions to join its team in Chicago, Illinois. Duties

  • Lead M&A deals from inception through closing.
  • Serve as the lead draftsperson for primary transaction documents.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years of law firm experience focused on M&A and related transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead complex transactions.
  • Strong client interaction skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
