Job Overview

A law firm seeks a knowledgeable and proactive real estate attorney with at least 5 years of commercial real estate experience in Florida. The successful candidate will join the Real Estate practice group and contribute to various aspects of real estate transactions.

Duties

  • Review and draft real estate purchase contracts, leases, easements, and other agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title searches.
  • Prepare entity and closing documents.
  • Review and issue title commitments on behalf of nationally recognized title insurance companies.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding property transactions.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for real estate transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure that real estate transactions comply with legal requirements.
  • Facilitate the closing of real estate transactions.
  • Research and stay updated on real estate laws, regulations, and trends affecting the industry.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals to achieve clients' and firm objectives.

Requirements

  • Possess an outstanding academic record with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to The Florida Bar in good standing.
  • At least 5 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, contracts, and property law.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to The Florida Bar in good standing.
