Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Bismarck, North Dakota office. This role involves handling a variety of litigation matters and contributing to case strategy and client representation.

• Duties:
• Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations
• Participate in depositions and discovery processes
• Collaborate with team members on litigation matters

• Requirements:
• 1 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred
• Strong academic background
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
• Interest in strategic problem solving
• Clerkship experience is a plus but not required
• Good standing within the legal community
• Licensed in North Dakota or willingness to obtain licensure

• Education:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Certifications:
• Active bar membership in North Dakota or eligibility for admission
