Job Overview

A law firm seeks a remote, full-time Debt Resolution Attorney licensed in New Jersey to manage debt resolution files and consult with clients. This position is based in Southfield, MI, but allows for telecommuting from a designated remote workspace.

Duties

  • Manage and oversee debt resolution files.
  • Conduct telephone consultations with clients.
  • Oversee settlement processes and file reviews.
  • Review and approve legal documents prepared by paralegals.
  • Provide legal assistance and ensure clients understand the debt resolution process.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey state bar.
  • Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred.
  • Comfortable with high volume of client interaction and customer service.
  • Proficient in using computers and basic software.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • License to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
