A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney for its Fort Lauderdale, FL office. The role involves managing a sophisticated civil defense practice with a focus on construction defect and litigation matters. The attorney will independently handle cases from inception to resolution, collaborating with clients and stakeholders across South Florida.

Duties

• Manage construction defect and litigation cases.
• Handle premises liability and personal injury defense.
• Address insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Resolve condominium and HOA disputes.
• Oversee auto, trucking, and transportation cases.
• Engage in commercial and property-related disputes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in construction defect or related litigation.
• Proficiency in taking and defending depositions.
• Strong motion practice and case evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage files independently and communicate with clients.
• Courtroom confidence and practical litigation judgment.
• Florida Bar license in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
