Duties

• Participate in trial preparation, including case strategy, discovery, records review, and client and witness interviews.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Write compelling and thoroughly researched briefs and legal memorandums.
• Research and analyze complex litigation areas.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in defense litigation.
• Expertise in taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to research and investigate complex litigation areas.
• Excellent writing abilities.
• License to practice law in Louisiana.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
