Job Overview

A respected law firm in the Pullman, Washington area is seeking a committed and capable Family Law Attorney to join its legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload of family law matters in a collaborative office environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate motivation, attention to detail, and a strong desire to establish long-term roots in the Pullman/Moscow/Lewiston/Clarkston region.

Duties

  • Represent clients in a range of family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and related litigation

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements

  • Conduct legal research and advise clients on their rights and options

  • Appear in court and before administrative agencies as necessary

  • Collaborate with legal staff and attorneys in a team-oriented environment

  • Manage caseload independently while maintaining firm-wide standards and deadlines

Requirements

  • Active membership in the Washington State Bar (required)

  • Membership in the Idaho State Bar (preferred)

  • Ability to practice independently and collaboratively

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to ethical practice

  • Willingness to make a long-term professional commitment to the local region

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Washington State

  • Additional licensure in Idaho (preferred)
