Appellate Associate Attorney

Duties

• Draft legal documents for negotiations and proceedings.
• Take depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients at trial.
• Conduct legal research and assist with hearing preparations.
• Analyze legal matters and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients for efficient case management.
• Maintain up-to-date client files for team access.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Florida Bar Admission.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• Must meet billing goal expectations.
• Coverage experience and/or judicial clerkship strongly preferred.
• Experience with legal research and complex legal analysis.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
