Duties

  • Assist in managing a caseload of personal injury matters through the litigation process.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Support depositions, including preparation of materials and summaries.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in drafting memoranda and briefs.
  • Assist in preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trial.
  • Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision.
  • Maintain organized case files and track deadlines.

Requirements

  • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 1-2 years of litigation experience (personal injury preferred).
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to discovery, motion practice, or depositions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative and eager to learn.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
