Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Counsel with over 10 years of civil litigation experience to manage a large docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves overseeing operations for a team handling numerous disputes for a major technology client.

Duties

• Drive and coordinate matter management and budgeting for a large litigation portfolio.
• Develop docket management strategies as the mix of matters evolves.
• Innovate docket processes, including workflow improvements and AI integration.
• Supervise operations management, including docketing and staffing.
• Manage data collection and deliver insights to client and firm teams.
• Communicate directly with the client and firm relationship partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in complex civil litigation and client interaction.
• Proficiency in docket and case management with a focus on efficiency.
• Experience in designing and implementing process improvements.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
• Proactive deadline management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Member of the State Bar of California, admitted in good standing.
