Job Overview

A mid-sized, mission-driven law firm is seeking a Lead Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of civil litigation experience to support and help lead its growing real estate and business law practice. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex litigation matters, guide junior attorneys, and work within a values-based legal team that prioritizes impact and innovation. Duties

  • Manage and litigate complex civil litigation matters, with a focus on real estate and business law

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams and contribute to litigation strategy

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff

  • Maintain client relationships and ensure high-quality legal service delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of active litigation experience

  • Experience in real estate and/or business law preferred

  • Proven courtroom and deposition experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment

  • Experience mentoring or supervising attorneys is a plus

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in Washington and/or Idaho

Skills

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex case files

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
