Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Regulatory Investigations, Strategy & Enforcement Associate in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience with State Attorneys General, handling civil investigative demands, multistate investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters.

Duties

  • Respond to civil investigative demands and coordinate multistate investigations.
  • Negotiate resolutions and advise clients on regulatory enforcement matters.
  • Engage in internal investigations and related litigation.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with State AG offices.
  • Support strategic business development for the firm.

Requirements

  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with State Attorneys General preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and publication record or aptitude for thought leadership.
  • Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence and work.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant state.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex investigations and enforcement matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
