Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel associate for its San Francisco, CA office to join the Corporate & Business Transactions team, focusing on life sciences. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of law firm experience or two or more years as in-house counsel in the life sciences industry, with a strong interest in life sciences transactions.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate collaboration agreements and license agreements.
  • Handle supply and operational agreements, including CDA/NDAs, MTAs, SRAs, CTAs, and MSAs.
  • Manage product purchase and sale agreements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience in life sciences transactions or two years as in-house counsel.
  • Strong desire to focus on life sciences transactions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Skills

  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
