Duties

• Meet deadlines and manage a high volume of cases.
• Research complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff.
• Handle court appearances, client meetings, and depositions.
• Communicate regularly with clients.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in MD; other jurisdictions a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Experience with complex general liability and professional liability preferred.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Maryland required.
