Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on First Party Property with exposure to general liability and third-party practice.

Duties

• Assist in managing cases from inception.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Provide timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status.
• Prioritize workload based on deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements

• JD, licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in First Party Property.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ProLaw, NetDocs, and iTimekeep is a plus.
