A law firm seeks a highly motivated business litigation attorney with expertise in international trade and customs law for their Detroit, Michigan office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in supply chain litigation and advising on U.S. import and export regulations.

Duties

• Advise companies on customs valuation, tariff classification, and country-of-origin issues.
• Litigate supply chain and commercial disputes.
• Draft pleadings and motions with precision.
• Develop case strategies and manage matters independently or collaboratively.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in international trade and customs law.
• Experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Court of International Trade preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.

Education
