Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level associate to join its Real Estate Finance group in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, law firm or clerking experience, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties

• Engage in loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Draft primary loan documents and manage transactions from inception through closing.
• Handle asset management and workout experience.
• Conduct secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support national practice growth.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice.
