Job Overview

A law firm seeks a transactional electrical patent attorney for its Intellectual Property Group, with opportunities available in Texas, Tennessee, Tampa, Raleigh, or Birmingham. Duties

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications independently.
  • Collaborate with the Intellectual Property Group on complex legal matters.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients in the electrical and computer science sectors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a substantial client portfolio.
  • Strong writing and research skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the state bar in one of the specified locations.
