A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney in Kansas City, MO. This role offers the opportunity to join a sophisticated national practice, focusing on renewable energy work, including project development, commercial, financing, and transactional areas.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
• Engage in project development and transactional practice areas.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or comparable experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Missouri.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law.

Skills

• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
