Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Burbank, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of plaintiff-side experience and will manage cases from pre-litigation through litigation. This role requires independence, efficiency, and a focus on achieving strong client outcomes.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Handle pre-litigation cases, including demand packages, negotiations, and settlements.
• Litigate cases as needed, including filing complaints, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Evaluate case value, liability, and damages.
• Work closely with support staff and leadership to move cases efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
• Experience handling cases in pre-litigation; litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and case evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
