Job Overview

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to expand and protect intellectual property portfolios.
• Interface with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements related to intellectual property.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in patent law.
• Admitted to the USPTO or eligible to take the Patent Bar.
• Prior experience with consumer electronics, software, or related fields preferred.
• Excellent academic performance.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• JD required.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software, or Computer Science preferred.

Certifications

• USPTO admission or eligibility to take the Patent Bar.

Skills

• Experience with web-based services, full-stack development, and generative AI.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data structures, data storage, and databases.
