Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This position offers an opportunity to work with a respected team on diverse real estate matters.

Duties

• Assist with leasing, purchasing, and sales of commercial real estate.
• Draft and review organizational documents and operating agreements.
• Conduct title and survey reviews and manage closing checklists.
• Negotiate and amend commercial leases.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and client service skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Michigan bar preferred; other jurisdictions considered.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
