Job Overview: A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney in San Francisco, California, offering a hybrid work arrangement. This role involves handling complex commercial litigation matters and provides an opportunity to take on significant responsibility across all phases of litigation within a collaborative legal environment.

  • Duties:
  • Manage litigation matters across areas such as general liability, professional liability, employment, construction, real estate, and related disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests.
  • Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and site inspections.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience handling multiple phases of litigation.
  • Familiarity with state and federal court procedures preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally as required.
  • Education:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Certifications:
  • Active license to practice law in California.
  • Skills:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
