Litigation Associate Attorney

A nationally recognized trial law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least four years of experience to join its expanding civil litigation team. With a strong foundation in product liability defense and a growing practice in multiple litigation areas, this firm offers a hands-on role where associates take active responsibility in depositions, hearings, briefing, and trial preparation. Location:

• Houston, TX

Duties:

• Manage a full litigation caseload independently from intake through resolution

• Draft legal pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research and contribute to litigation strategy

• Appear regularly in court for hearings, conferences, and trials

• Take and defend depositions, including experts and key witnesses

• Collaborate closely with partners and legal teams on high-profile cases

• Lead client communications and provide timely, strategic updates

• Engage in trial preparation and courtroom participation as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation

• Experience with product liability or complex tort defense is a plus

• Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters

• Demonstrated experience with depositions, hearings, and court appearances

• Commitment to legal excellence and high-quality client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in Texas

• In good standing with respective state bar association

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex matters
