Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Tax practice in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in general transactional tax work, collaborating closely with the corporate practice to advise on various tax matters.

Duties

  • Advise on corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Provide guidance on partnerships, LLCs, and joint ventures.
  • Assist in private equity and fund formation.
  • Consult on real estate and investment trusts.
  • Support financing and capital markets transactions.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in transactional tax work.
  • Experience managing substantial components of transactions independently.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
