Job Overview

Duties

• Advise clients on federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance on healthcare organizational structure and governance.
• Counsel on healthcare ownership and corporate practice of medicine.
• Evaluate risks in healthcare transactions and draft agreements.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and other healthcare sector transactions.
• Deliver business-focused solutions to compliance challenges.
• Represent clients in investigations and proceedings.
• Advise on taxation and exempt organization matters.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare law.
• Portable book of business.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in Michigan.
