Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Professional Liability Attorney with over four years of litigation experience to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex professional liability cases in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Duties

• Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing updates and strategic guidance.
• Handle a broad range of professional liability matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice in California required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, or other professional liability matters preferred.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar.
